Christmas Owl

This card was designed to enter the Sketch Saturday challenge but will come in handy for a card I can give for Christmas.
  Don't you find when you make cards everyone expects you will do them a hand made card, well starting January i will be making one or two a week to get on top of it.

I think simple but nice is different from Santa and Snowmen.

Hello to all I`m back, been working a lot so had no time to craft at all but I have now got my days off and I have done some new Christmas cards.

I had this lovely Noel stamp which was so traditional so I thought  with some nice paper it would look modern as well.

One Green Girl & Her Cat

I bought this stamp when it was on sale and have not used it until now, well its a lovely simple stamp but seemed to take ages to colour, also I have not coloured animals until today, the cat is my first and trying to make it look right was hard but some more practice and I will get there. I did this card for Sweet Sketch Wednesday

Fairy Girl

Hello people I had to think of an image to use for a card challenge and I found these toppers from this nice craft shop in Tetney Lincs, called The Hobby House.

I used this lovely Little Fairy Girl which lent its self to a pretty pink colour pallet.

Christmas Marathon

Here I am again ha ha! Just to say I have had a Christmas marathon today, really dont enjoy Christmas card making as its not my thing, I guess it is just to much Christmas cheer for me, but I started today and found my Christmas mojo so carried on for 7 hrs, even took my drinks up to the craft room then stopped for lunch.

I bought a Hunkydory multibuy from Create and Craft which included 4 different Christmas themes, each kit makes at least 20 cards.

Out of one kit to I made 2 cards the other week and 17 today and still have some bits left to make some smaller cards and one big one.

   So now I have to match them with envelops and some need some bling then on to sell them hoping to make the money back from this lot to cover the whole kits cost.

Well that's me all crafted out for today

OFF WITH HER HEAD

Hello every one this is a card i did for a sketch challenge and when i saw the sketch i thought strait away Alice in wonderland using cards in the background i also printed the queen on neena card and couloured her in which i love so lets have a look,

 Ingredients 

• a very important date, my craft studio cd-rom 
• card stock, water colour printing card, quality paper 
• spectrum noirs neena card stock 
• pearls and glues

fancy fold instructions

Hello to all this is my post on how to make a box fold card, i wash shown this to me by my Friend and i loved it as not seen it before,

for every ones info i use the ultimate pro and its boxer board so lets get on with the instructions and a tip or two.

so cut card stock 8 1/4 x 11 inc and score all lines as shown,

 tip- if using the ultimate boxer board when scoring the 8 1/2 inc line just turn 180 degrees and score 2 1/2 

next step is to remove all for corners,

 then to tun the next sections in to flaps as shown in the diagram and picture.
tip- i take a notch out on both sides this helps with construction.

 then on the top and bottom rectangle you need to find the middle and score a triangle out from there,
 tip -turn card over and score on reverse side as this helps when folding.

 nearly there and now its time for the gluing and a sticking, when gluing the flaps these go on the out side not on the inside.

 and this is what it should look like.
