quick spectrum noir pencil card tutorial

Hello to you all and today is a quick pencil tutorial with spectrum noir pencils and pencil blending solution.
primary set, card blank, stazon, postet notes the stamp set was with a magazine and they are indigoblu.
so hear it comes and there will be a few pics as we go along,

so first thing is to cover around your card blank with sticky notes or tape or paper so to leave a 1/2inc boarder,

now using a small stamp of your choice then stamp all over your white space.
tip- this also looks good on kraft card.

This is a little colour along i have done i used pencils 66 68 65 and used them in this order as 66 is darker than 68 please trust me,
as we are using blending solution you don't have to build up layers just colour down a good amount of each colour were you want it,

for the middles i have used 87 107 84 and do the same as last step,

now using the blending stumps and the solution you blend them together going from the dark to the light,

it should look something like this,

Then using a distress marker salty ocean or any pen you like draw around the flowers,
finally touch stamp a sentiment and stick in corner. and some pearls.

This is the finished card

I hope you enjoyed this and if you have any suggestions for blog posts please let me know.
until next time keep crafting,

Diamond easel card totorial

Hello and today by request of a facebook friend i am doing a tutorial of a diamond shaped easel card,

You will need 3 square bits of card all the same size,
on one piece of card you need to fold one corner about 1/2 an inch,
 then stick

on this same piece of card you will need to score it in half,

then stick the tap to one of the other pieces of card

now it should look like this

now when you Matt and layer on to the base you need to renumber to cut the corner away like so,

now you just attach the third piece of card on like you would do a normal easel card,
and decorate,
no one of my best but it was a example

Well i hope this helps some people to do some different cards,
Until next time,
Keep on crafting,

Watercolour and Barbara Gray

Hello and i seem to be late with today's blog post,
I have challenged my self to use things i have not used a lot off and today i have chosen some clarity stamps as these were bought a few years ago used them once or twice then they have been put away and every time i see them i say i am going to sell them or give them away but just keep the, any way i have used them in this card,
Ingredients are clarity stamps, spectrum aqua pens, memento ink pad pear tart.
watercolour card and black card.
I have stamped the wording with the memento and i stamped the leaves in the corner by colouring on to the stamp with the spectrum aqua pen i then coloured the vase and flower's with the pens and used a brush and water.
finally i mated on to black card then on to 6x6 card blank.

I hope you like and will post again i hope tomorrow,
until next time,
keep crafting.

Spectrum aqua and emmbossing powder

Hello and todays card is done with the spectrum aqua pens a Sheena Douglass stamp called Magnolia blossom and embossing powder and i also used a spellbinders die witch is called majestic labels 25.

This is one of the vids on the Leann chives dvd explaining about the aqua pens.
first you stamp clear ink on to watercolour card and emboss with clear embossing powder,
next is called wet on wet were you wet the card first then with a brush put on the colours, i coloured the pens on to glass mat first then picked up the color from there,

once i have coloured the image i cut out with the spellbinders die and ink the edges with black soot

I stamped and cut out the sentiment and matted on to black card stock

for the finish i mated on to yellow card stock and added some pearls coloured with ct4 from the spectrum noir pens.

Yet again this card took no time at all but really enjoyed doing it,
I hope you have liked this post,
Until next time,
keep on crafting,
